We are very excited to announce that with a great help from Google Affiliate Network team, we have implemented a new linking structure for Google Affiliate Network affiliates.

Now Google Affiliate Network affiliates can use one single publisher id for all their Google Affiliate Network merchants at GoldenCAN.

This enhancement will help affiliates in building GoldenCAN Store, Coupon or Search Integration for Google Affiliate Network merchants faster without having to create separate link ids for each merchant.

The old Google Affiliate Network link id used to start with the number 4100.
Now you can use your Google Affiliate Network publisher id which starts with 2100.

When you login to your affiliate account at GoldenCAN, click on the link “My Affiliate Ids” on the top. Now you will be able to save your Google Affiliate Network publisher id at one place and use it easily for future integrations of Google Affiliate Network merchants.

How to get Your Publisher ID for Google Affiliate Network Merchants to use on GoldenCAN?

Your Google Affiliate Network Publisher ID is located at the bottom right corner after you login to your publisher account at Google Affiliate Network.

This 17 digit log numeric value is located under your website name.
Google Affiliate Network publisher id starts with the numbers 2100.

An example Google Affiliate Network publisher id will look like this. 210000000000xxxxx

What benefits I get if I change my existing 4100 link ids with 2100 publisher id.

Due to the limitation of old Google Affiliate Network linking structure, GoldenCAN was unable to display coupons for Google Affiliate Network merchants and only price drops were displayed. Now with the power of new linking structure GoldenCAN is able to display the coupons for Google Affiliate Network merchants. As the coupons links require 2100 id, if you update your existing GoldenCAN stores of Google Affiliate Network merchants with 2100 publisher id, your coupon integrations will display the coupons of Google Affiliate Network merchants.

If I do not update my GoldenCAN Stores with new 2100 id, will my existing stores stop working?

No, if you decide not to change your 4100 link id with 2100 publisher id all your existing links will continue to function as they already do.

If you modify any of your existing stores at GoldenCAN you will be required to replace your 4100 id with new 2100 id.
