I don't see my affiliate ID in the code generated by GoldenCAN or in the URL
when I click on a product.
Answer:
When you create a store at GoldenCAN your affiliate id is stored in the GoldenCAN system along with the settings of your GoldenCAN Integration. The GoldenCAN code which you add on your website does not contain your affiliate id. When a user clicks on a link in your store to go to merchant's website, GoldenCAN counts the clicks depending on the merchant if it is 4th click or FREE of 4th click and inserts your affiliate id or its own affiliate ID in the redirect URL before sending the user to the merchant's website.
If this is a "FREE of 4th click" merchant your affiliate id is inserted in every redirect URL. If this is a "4th click" merchant then GoldenCAN inserts your affiliate id on every 3 clicks and its own affiliate id on every 4th click from that store.
In some case merchant's display the affiliate id in the URL once you land on the merchant's website i.e. (eBags.com). in most cases the affiliate id is not displayed in the URL.
